Funeral service for Lucia Alcock Creighton were3 held Monday, May

24, 2010, 11 a.m. in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Charles Luke officiating.

Burial followed at Memory Lawn Cemetery at Natchitoches, La.

Mrs. Creighton, 90, of Natchitoches, died Friday, May 21, 2010, at

Community Care Nursing Home in Natchitoches.

She was a native and life long resident of Natchez. She was a

homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Creighton was a graduate of Louisiana Normal College.

She was preceded in death by husband, Harry Creighton; parents, Walter Everette Alcock, Sr. and Henri D. Williams Alcock; two sisters, Ruth Estelle Normand and Gloria Alcock ; one brother, Walter Alcock, Jr.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Creighton of Dallas, Tx. and

Robin Feistel and husband Bob of Nacogdoches, Tx.; three sons, Harry Creighton, Jr. and wife Mary of Clayton, Walter

Creighton, PhD and wife Sue of Natchitoches, and Randall Creighton,

PhD and wife Azita of Albuquerque, NM; nine grandchildren, Lucia, Thomas, Pamela, Allan, Matthew, Luke, Helen, Andrew, and Laura; and seven great-grandchildren

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 4196, Monroe, La. 71202.
