The Concordia Parish Police Jury reminded farmers this week that parish roads are not to be used as turnrows.

Juror Jimmy Jernigan said during the Jury's regular meeting Monday night that a portion of the Gallup Road was damaged over the weekend when a farmer used the road as a turnrow. Gallop Road had been repaved on Friday, said Jernigan, and a quarter-mile section of the 2.5-mile road was damaged by a tractor on Saturday.
