Jarrett Hoffpauir has had two hits in seven of his last eight games for the Las Vegas 51s, the Class AAA team of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Hoffpauir is the fifth-leading hitter in the Pacific Coast League, hitting .341.

The Vidalia native leads the 51s with 19 walks, 31 runs and 34 runs batted in.

He has been playing second and third base for Las Vegas.
