Complaints over cable television service were aired, a rehired employee's back pay discussed and other business handled during the Ferriday Town Council's regular meeting Tuesday night.

The general manager of the town's cable provider, Drew Cannon, fielded complaints during the meeting. He noted that there have been 287 illegal hookups to cable service in town -- 125 in just two days.

"That affects everybody's cable service," Cannon said.
