Elzie Lee Mason
Funeral services for Elzie Lee Mason, 80 of Harrisonburg were held at New Hope Pentecostal Church, Leland, today, Wednesday June 23, 2010, 2 p.m. with Bro. David Bailey officiating.
Interment followed at Old Catahoula Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Jonesville.
Mr. Mason was born on July 11, 1929, in Sicily Island and passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010, at his residence in Harrisonburg.
He was a resident of Harrisonburg, a heavy equipment operator and a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church in Leland.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Mason; parents, Ernest and Rosie Mason; two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include son, Lee Mason, Jr. and wife Linda of Olla; son, Hank Mason of Harrisonburg; and son, Chris Mason of Harrisonburg. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Shelly Hewes, Clifton Jarvis, and Mattie Gould; six great-grandchildren, Nicole Franlin, Nathaniel Jarvis, Frank Hewes III, Bethany Jarvis, Chris Hewes, and Sara Jones.
Pallbearers were Justin Phillips, Mike Lip, Sydney Eubanks, Billy Glen Floyd, and Ronnie Eubanks.
Honorary pallbearers were Bo Aarons and James Glen Kelly. |
