Funeral services for Geraldine Fuller Byrd, 76, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday June 16, 2010, at her residence, were held 11 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Guthrie officiating.

Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Byrd was born May 30, 1934, in Lincoln County, MS, the daughter of James Arvan and Myrtle Farmer Fuller.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Byrd was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Survivors include her husband, Forrest Byrd of Vidalia; one daughter, Kay Deville and husband Jerry of Houma; two sons; Gary Byrd and wife Billie of Natchez and Mike Byrd of Vidalia; six grandchildren, Lance Byrd of Poland, LA, Emily Burke of Suwanee, GA, Alan Byrd of Iowa, LA, Scott Byrd of Natchez, Max Byrd of Vidalia and Landon Byrd of Rockwell, NC; two great grandchildren, Lily and Noah Byrd; and one brother, J. C. (Carroll) Fuller of Newellton.

Pallbearers were her grandsons.
