Clyde Leroy Sanford
Funeral services for Clyde Leroy Sanford, 76 of Ferriday, were held at Westside Baptist Church on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Bro. Larry Whittington officiating.
Interment will follow at Carlton Family Cemetery, Jonesville, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Mr. Sanford was born on October 26, 1933 in Colfax and passed away Friday, June 25, 2010, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. He was a resident of Ferriday and a member of the Ferriday Masonic Lodge #390.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Morris Sanford and Gertrude Sanford; two sons, Ronnie Dale Sanford and Kenneth "Fuzz" Sanford.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Vera C. Sanford of Ferriday; son, Delton Sanford and wife, Loretta of Natchez; daughter, Cindi Loyed and Brian Schuilli of Ferriday; grandchildren, Tommy Sanford, Timothy Sanford, Alicia Beach, Connie Richardson, Jana Sanford, Gail Loyed, Jacob Loyed, Elizabeth Loyed, Kimberly Scott and Joey Scott; brother, Ira Wayne Sanford; two sisters, Louise Carlton and Katherine Reeves. He was also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Billy Brixley, Brian Schuilli, Jerry Evans, Randy Nugent, Stewart Evans and Terry Evans. |
