No parking signs will be placed on Calhoun Road after a resident complained about an unsanctioned rodeo to the Concordia Parish Police Jury at Monday night's meeting.

Paul Harris, who lives on the road and owns Paul Harris Service Center, told jurors that residents of some nearby trailers have set up a rodeo twice out of the last four weekends without a permit. He said the traffic from the events blocks the public road and makes it difficult to reach his house, where he sometimes finds cars driving through his yard.

"It's just a nuisance," Harris said. "We came in Sunday evening, and we had to wait to get in the main road coming to our house."
