Police probing vandalism at VHS The Vidalia Police Department is investigating a case of vandalism at Vidalia High which occurred over the weekend.
Chief Tapper Hendricks said a group of juveniles is believed to have been responsible.
"We do have some prints and a little blood evidence that we can use," said Hendricks.
Concordia Parish School Board Director of Academic Affairs Paul Nelson said he went by the school around 2 p.m. Sunday and that Vidalia High principal Rick Brown was at the school at 5 p.m.
Nelson said nothing appeared out of the ordinary at that time.
But he said that when Vidalia High teacher and basketball coach Damus Smith arrived at the school Monday morning, he found the school had been ransacked.
According to Supt. Loretta Blankenstein, 11 different locations at the school were vandalized.
