Parish car dealer paid $10,672 in restitution A Concordia Parish automobile dealer was paid $10,672 in restitution on Monday from a Fayette, Miss., woman in connection with a felony identity theft charge.
Brad Yarbrough of Performance Dodge in Ferriday received the payment following an investigation by the Concordia Parish Sheriff's office and District Attorney.
In October 2007, according to the Dist. Atty. Brad Burget, Deborah Onyejekwe of Fayette purchased on credit a $34,000 silver 2008 Dodge Charger at Performance Dodge in Ferriday.
Burget said Onyejekwe falsified her credit application by using her former husband's Social Security number and used her former husband's last name. He said she also claimed that she was a practicing physician and claimed her annual income exceeded $900,000.
