Malone said the tax incentive is available to businesses that renovate existing buildings within the town economic district and has recently led to calls for new business prospects in Ferriday.
McGlothin said a business prospect has contacted Ferriday about acquiring a building with the intention of putting three businesses inside. McGlothin said another business is interested in re-locating to a building on E.E. Wallace.
