The Concordia Parish Police Jury received a "clean audit" for the fiscal year 2009, certified public accountant Myles Hopkins of Silas Simmons in Natchez told jurors Monday night.

The audit was made public by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor last week.

"Everything looks good," Hopkins said.

"It's always good to get a good audit report," said Jury President Melvin Ferrington.

The report said the Jury's assets exceeded liabilities by $8,082,962 at the end of the 2009 fiscal year on Dec. 31, that net capital assets totaled $12,382,072 and that the total payroll was $1,291,290.
