Vidalia and Ferriday High renew their rivalry Friday at Melz Field in Ferriday with the Trojans leading the series 25-15-1.

The Concordia Classic kicks off at 7 p.m.

Both teams are seeking their first wins of the season after each squad started the season at 0-2.

Ferriday has dropped games to Natchez High and Block, while Vidalia lost to Block and Ouachita Christian.

"It makes no difference what our records are," said Ferriday coach Chad Harkins. "If our guys can't get up for our rivals, then we have a problem."
