Block sweeps Concordia
Block High completed a sweep of Concordia Parish, defeating Ferriday 20-12 Friday after opening the season with a win over Vidalia.
The wins over the Concordia Parish teams were a first for a Block team in the same year since 1980.
Block defeated Vidalia in the playoffs in 1986 and had only beaten Vidalia once before this season.
