Jury extends garbage disposal contract The Concordia Parish Police Jury voted Monday night to extend by two years its contract with Waste Management for parishwide garbage disposal.
That action came during the Jury's regular meeting.
The contract option to extend included a three percent increase in rates, which will up the average monthly fee paid Diamond Disposal from $36,817.35 to $37,921.87, according to Jury figures.
