The Concordia Parish School Board adopted a $47.7 million budget for fiscal year 2010-11 during its regular meeting Thursday night.

Business Manager Tom O'Neal said capital outlay projects for the fiscal year include construction of a 300-meter track at Monterey and upgrading some of its air conditioning systems in the parish.

"We don't know what is going to happen with the economy," said O'Neal. "We're maintaining along the lines of last year."
