AC drops first game Adams County Christian School dropped its first game of the season as the Rebels were shut out by Parklane Academy, 35-0 Friday in Natchez.
The Rebels, already without quarterback Kent Yates who broke his arm in the opener, were playing without running backs Brandon Sanders (groin) and Christopher Perry (intestinal sickness).
"I felt like Klinger (from MASH), I kept hearing helicoper flying over," said AC coach Paul Hayles. "But you still have to block and tackle and we didn't do a good job there." To read entire story, subscribe at 318-757-3646 |
