One vote difference in two races; health unit tax renewed Voters in Concordia approved the renewal of the parishwide health unit tax, elected four School Board members, a Vidalia town marshal and a mayor in Ridgecrest.
One School Board race and the Ridgecrest mayor's race were settled by one vote.
Only 24 percent of the electorate turned out for the election, according to Clerk of Court Clyde Ray Webber.
