Parish burn ban lifted
The Concordia Parish Police Jury has lifted the parishwide burn ban, according to Jury President Melvin Ferrington.
"I've talked to Fire Chief Nolan Cothren about this and since we had a inch and a half to two inches of rain through this morning (Wednesday), we're lifting the ban," Ferrington.
The ban was put into place on Oct. 6 and followed the announcement of a statewide burn ban for private burning. |
