Ferriday chamber views projects
Ferriday Chamber of Commerce President Marie Cowan told Ferriday and Vidalia chamber members Tuesday that the consolidation of both chambers is not like the Ferriday High and Vidalia High football teams meeting on the gridiron.
"We are not competing," she said. "We are one team."
The Ferriday meeting Tuesday ended with discussion of the new Concordia Parish Chamber of Commerce which will officially start on Jan. 1, 2011.
"It's going to be a different animal than what we are used to," said Liz Brooking of Ferriday.
