Banks to fund Vidalia recreation project
The Concordia Recreation District Number Three Board of Directors in Vidalia has been given approval for a $4 million bond issue to fund the proposed new recreation facility, according to Board Chairman Marc Archer.
He said the funding was originally to be by the U.S. Department of Agriculture; however, the three local banks offered a better rate, saying that they were "very much interested in participating in this project."
