School employee bonuses approved
The Concordia Parish School Board voted during its regular meeting Thursday night to provide an across-the-board $600 increase in bonuses for all employees.
The increase means teachers and certified employees will received $1,000, up from the normal rate of $400, while non-certified support personnel will receive $800, up from the normal rate of $200.
Employees will receive their bonuses in what is known as the "13th check," which is paid in January.
