Clayton man dies in fire
A Clayton man died early Sunday morning in a house fire on Bingham Street, according to Chief Nolan Cothren of Concordia Fire District No. 2.
Cothren identified the victim as Howard Gene Denny, 62.
The chief said the State Fire Marshal will conduct an investigation.
When the fire department arrived at the scene, the house and truck in the carport were on fire, Cothren said.
