posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Gov. Bobby Jindal will speak at First Baptist Church in Ferriday at its 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday and attend a luncheon at the Delta Music Museum Arcade following the service.

The visit will be Jindal's fifth appearance in the parish since he became governor in 2008.

It will be the governor's first visit to Ferriday.

"This a chance to show off our museum and Arcade and discuss some of our downtown projects," said Ferriday Mayor Glen McGlothin.

Seating is limited for the meet and greet with Jindal, which will be held at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Jindal spoke at the Bryant O. Hammett Vidalia Conference and Convention Center on October 13 and gave his personal testimony at First Baptist Church Vidalia in 2008.
