posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Dr. Hank Kuiper of Natchez will address regional healthcare during a luncheon Thursday at the Bryant O. Hammett Vidalia Convention & Conference Center.

The luncheon is part of a series of quarterly meetings planned by the Miss-Lou Regional Steering Committee and is being co-hosted by the Natchez and Concordia chambers of commerce. The luncheon Thursday will target healthcare and will be led by the Miss-Lou Regional Healthcare Committee.

"We're looking for ways to improve healthcare locally and looking at ways to get more local people to seek healthcare here," according to Sarah Smith, Director of Physician Relations & Education at Promise Hospital. Smith chairs the Miss-Lou Regional Healthcare Committee, which works under the umbrella of the Miss-Lou Regional Steering Committee.
