New business to locate in Vidalia park

Allen Stuart is expanding his business in Concordia Parish with the soon-to-be built Precision Welding in the Vidalia industrial park.

The new industry could mean ever more industrial prospects for the Miss-Lou, according to local leaders.

Stuart, who owns Oilfield Instrumentation USA, Inc. located between the two prisons on Hwy. 15, has brought property in the industrial park for Precision Welding, which will employ about 15 people at the outset.

Stuart has been out of town this week on a business venture, but Vidalia Mayor Hyram Copeland said Precision Welding will be located near Louisiana Elastomer in an 8,000 sq. ft. facility.
