Riverland ER relocated during renovation
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Riverland Medical Center's emergency room will be re-located to another part of the hospital for a week beginning Feb. 9.

The move will allow for renovations to be made to the existing emergency room."The temporary emergency room is going to be in the wound care department, which is to the left when you walk in the front door," said Riverland administrator Lana Stamper. "We're going to route all ambulances and patients to the back because there is a ramp and it is covered."

Signs will be in place to direct all medical calls and emergencies to the new location.

All ambulance services and law enforcement agencies have been notified of the change.

Stamper said the renovations should be completed by Feb. 16.
