Huntington site of tech school classes during renovation In preparation for the ACT 391 building renovation and expansion project, Central Louisiana Technical College, Shelby Jackson Campus, has relocated to the former Huntington School at 300 Lynwood Drive in Ferriday.
Huntington School closed down last May, but remains a busy place. Trinity Episcopal's baseball team will be playing their home games at Huntington's old baseball field.
The Huntington school property is overflowing with post secondary students enrolled in technical programs preparing for the workforce.
All departments and programs other than the two shop programs (Welding and Building Technology Specialists) have moved to Huntington.
The anticipated stay at the temporary campus location is 12 to 15 months, said Campus Dean Mignonne Ater.
