Vidalia grants to buy truck, online archiving

Vidalia City Manager Ken Walker said the town has received two grants from the State Treasurer's Office to purchase a utility truck and automated software and hardware to put all town ordinances and minutes on line.

A $9,000 grant will be used to purchase a truck for the utility department.

The town is using a $6,000 grant to digitalize the ordinances and minutes.
