Hinsons win Fuss n' Cuss

Pat and Cathy Hinson fired 65s on Saturday and Sunday to capture the 2011 Fuss n' Cuss at Panola Woods Country Club this past weekend.

The Hinson's 130 total was three better than David and Amy Johnson, who finished second in the championship flight with a 133.

"It was our 35th anniversary Saturday so that made it even more special," Cathy said.

Billy Risher and Stacey LaPrairie were thread by scorecard playoff at 135.

Gene Jackson and Priss Bryant also shot 135.

Robin and Sandy Renner fired a 136, while the teams of Don Tassion and Peggy Berniard, Roger Dobbs and Mary Edwards and Bob and Paula Landreneau came in at 137.

Rodney and Linday McHann fired a 139, while Jeff and Melanie Ryan shot a 141.

Former Fuss n' Cuss champions Fred and Julia McKey won the first flight with a 138.

Rick and Sharon Berken were second at 139, while Duke and Beverly Knapp were thirds at 142.

Don and Dianne Valentine won the second flight with a 145. Sam and Pam Schisler were second at 146, while Larry and Sharon Manthei were third at 146 by scorecard playoff.

J.C. and Dott Barron won the third flight with a 147, Robert and Lois Martin were second by scorecard playoff at 151, while Clyde Savoy and Billie Ault were third at 151.

Tony and Jan Guillory captured the fourth flight at 158, JoJoh and Joane Ward were second at 159 and Keith and Joan Guilloary were third at 163.

Closest to the pin winners were Tony Guillory, Don Tassin, Barbara Lemoine and Sharon Berken.

Longest drive winners were Clyde Savoy, Jeremy Ward, Dot Barron and Paul Landreneau.

Panola Woods will host the Crawfish Scramble Saturday. The Tracey Dennig Roberts Memorial will be held May 14.

The Flag Day Women's Tournament will be June 14.
