A Ferriday man and three juveniles have been arrested in connection with a number of burglaries in Ferriday and the burning of Miss-Lou Pawn Shop on Hwy. 84.

Ferriday Police Department investigator Clarence Hall said Charles M. Anderson, 18, 100 Kyle Road, Apt. B 16, Ferriday, was charged with four counts of simple burglary along with the three juveniles.

"There may be some further charges, as well," Hawkins said.

The Ferriday investigator, who was assisted by Ferriday Officer John Hawkins, said a laptop that was sold for $20 from Miss-Lou Pawn Shop, led to the arrests.

The fire at Miss-Lou Pawn Shop took place early on May 23.

The owner of the pawn shop, Sterling Blanche, was out of town at the time.

Ferriday assistant police chief Johnny Evans said the houses that were burglarized were not occupied at the time of the burglaries. Three were in Woodland Subdivision, the other was on Tennessee Ave.
