New county agent on job; Concordia hosting LCAA
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
More than 75 Louisiana county agents will visit Concordia Parish and Natchez beginning Sunday for the 65th Louisiana County Agricultural Agents Association (LCAA) Convention.

Concordia's retiring county agent, Glen Daniels, is president of LCAA and will host the meeting.

While planning for LCAA's convention slated June 5-8, Daniels welcomed his replacement this week -- new county agent Nan Huff.

"June 1 is her first day on the job," said Daniels. "Nan will work in both Concordia and Catahoula parishes as I have done."

In 2007, Huff received her doctoral degree in animal sciences from LSU. She was serving as an Equine Technician Supervisor at LSU Equine Center in Baton Rouge.

Daniels has been working for the LSU AgCenter in Concordia for 36 years. He is a graduate of Southern University and earned his master's at LSU.

July 1st will be his last day on the job.
