McKeiver takes over at ACCS

Hunter McKeiver has been named head football coach at Adams County Christian School.

"I'm excited and I feel very confident about this position," McKeiver said.

McKeiver replaces Paul Hayles, who turned in his resignation last month  after accepting the job as headmaster at Amite School Center in Liberty, Ms.

McKeiver is the head baseball coach at ACCS and was an assistant coach with the football team.

"I completely understand the kids and have a great coaching staff returning," McKeiver said. "We're losing a great guy in Coach Hayles, who has been a mentor to me. But we're excited about the future."

"We just feel this is the best way to go at this stage," said ACCS headmaster Buddy Wade. "He is familiar with the team and they are familiar with him. We will keep our current assistants and bring in one more."
