A pep rally broke out at the end of the Ferriday Town meeting Tuesday night.

Coaches and parents filled the meeting room and cheered as Ferriday recreation director McKinley Bates talked about Ferriday's Lil' Trojan football teams which all sport 6-1 records in the TNT League out of McComb.

The league ages are 6-8, 9-10 and 11-12.

The 9-10 group is ranked No. 6 in the nation by National League Certification in the Junior Select Division.

Bates was asking for support from the board and community as all three teams are looking to compete in a national tournament in Dallas at Texas Stadium Nov. 24-27.

Bates said the teams need to raise $13,000.
