A high speed chase Tuesday night from Ferriday to Jonesville resulted in an arrest of a Ferriday man who had $4,966.92 and 171 grams of crack cocaine in his car.

According to Ferriday Police Chief Johnny Evans, Kendrick Jones, 31,115 Weaver St., Ferriday, was charged with obstruction of license plate, speeding, aggravated flight from an officer, possession of schedule II (crack cocaine) with intent to distribute and obstruction of justice.
