Office closures set for holiday
Schools are out this holiday week, while most businesses will be closed Thursday, Thanksgiving Day.
The Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office, State Police and other law enforcement agencies urge residents to travel safely on the highways this holiday week and to wear your seatbelts.
Meanwhile, parish governmental offices will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holidays, including courthouse offices: Clerk of Court, Police Jury, Registrar of Voters, District Attorney, Judges and the business offices of the Sheriff's Office.
Concordia Bank, Tensas State Bank and Delta Bank will be closed Thursday. Concordia Bank will be open until 1 p.m. Friday, while Delta Bank will close at noon Friday and Tensas State Bank will close Friday at noon.
The Concordia Parish Library will be closing at 3 p.m. Wednesday and remain closed through Saturday. The library will re-open on Monday at 8 a.m.
Copiah-Lincoln Community College, all campuses, will be closed for the Thanksgiving holidays from Wednesday, Nov. 23 through Friday, Nov. 25. Campuses will reopen on Monday, Nov. 28.For the full story, subscribe to the The Concordia Sentinel's NEW E-Edition! |
