Monterey boys upset Oak Hill Monterey High's Hayden Cassels hit a free throw with no time remaining on the clock to give the Wolves a 76-75 win over Oak Hill Friday.

Monterey forced a turnover and put up a shot with seconds remaining that was no good, but Cassels grabbed the rebound and was fouled just before the horn sounded.
"That's one of those games you have to have if you are going to compete for the district title," said Monterey coach Eric Richard. "We played one of our best games of the year, especially offensively. The only downfall was losing the lead late."
The loss was the first district loss for Oak Hill, while Monterey improved to 2-2 in district.
