Voters have returned all nine members of the Concordia Parish Police Jury to office.

Three incumbent Jury members were re-elected during Saturday's general election run-off.

Voting machines were opened Tuesday and all votes recounted. The results as posted Saturday night were confirmed, according to both Registrar of Voters Golda Ensminger and Clerk of Court Clyde Ray Webber.

One juror was unopposed and five re-elected during the March primary.

Re-elected in run-offs on Saturday, April 21, were Police Jury President Melvin Ferrington, Willie Dunbar and Jimmy Jernigan.

In District 2, incumbent Dunbar garnered 62.66 percent of the vote to defeat Fred Marsalis, 349-208.
