Riverland Medical Center has narrowed its search for a new administrator down to two candidates, according to the hospital's chairman of the board Jim Graves.

The board's choice will replace Lana Stamper, who turned in her resignation effective June 8.

"We hope to name someone soon," Graves said.

Stamper was named administrator at Riverland in October of 2010.
