Miss-Lou Relay raises $190,000
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The Miss-Lou Relay for Life raised $190,000 this year with at least $20,000 more expected.

The additional income will come from the first American Cancer Society 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile Fun Run slated for Saturday, May 19, beginning at the Vidalia Convention Center.

"In this economy, it is mind-boggling the money raised," said Miss-Lou Relay for Life representative Janis Holder. "I attribute a lot of that to the team captains and the great ideas to keep people interested and motivated."
