Public hearing on Vidalia city park

A hearing seeking public input on phase three construction of Vidalia City Park will be held during the town council's regular meeting Tuesday night, June 12, at 6 p.m.

Phase three work includes construction of additional bathrooms and playgrounds, according to Teresa Dennis, the town's grant coordinator.

The overall project encompasses four to five phases and includes the construction of tennis courts, basketball courts, a fishing pond, concession area, walking trails, gazebo and a host of other features.
