Legislative auditors have been going through financial records at Clayton Town Hall over the past few days, but Mayor Rydell Turner said Wednesday he was told it was a routine visit.

Assistant Legislative Auditor Allen Brown confirmed that two staff auditors had been dispatched to town hall, but said he could not comment on why they were there.
