posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The Concordia Parish Police Jury will hold a public hearing on Monday, Aug. 20, to discuss a proposed parishwide drainage tax.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Police Jury meeting room in the courthouse in Vidalia.

The Concordia Parish Drainage Committee and the Black River Lake Commission recommended recently that the Jury ask voters parishwide to consider a two-mill tax to finance the long-term maintenance for proposed structures for the Black River Lake and Brushley Bayou projects.
