Miss-Lou Tribute needs volunteers
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The Miss-Lou Patriotic Tribute is looking for a few volunteers.

The Tribute will be Nov. 7-11 at the Natchez Convention Center, and will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 8-10, and 7 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11. The event will be free and open to the public.

"Volunteers are essential to helping make this Tribute a tremendous experience for our visitors," said Doug McCallister, event chairman. "Volunteers also will be able to experience this Tribute in a unique way."

The greatest need, McCallister said, is for evening shifts Nov. 8 and 9, and both day and evening Nov. 10. Volunteers will receive a keepsake lanyard, have a volunteer brunch on Nov. 8 from 7:30-9:30 a.m., and receive a certificate of appreciation. Volunteers will be greeters, helpers, and assist visitors in locating names on various exhibits.
