AC ends season
by Joey Martin - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
ACCS first-year head coach David King will be watching the postseason from the outside for the first time in nine years.

AC finished 3-8.

"I went home Monday and didn't know what to do with myself," King said. "It was defintely different."

Lester Wells led the AC offense with three touchdowns covering 2, 80 and 62 yards. The Rebel sophomore tallied 205 yards on 17 carries.

Tristan Beach added an 8-yard run.

"We had some young kids get a lot of experience this season," King said. "We knew it would be a learning year and we would have to take some lumps. But we're excited about the future. We started in the weight room this week and we will continue working right up until we start spring practice."
