Early voting begins Saturday for the Dec. 8 election.

Concordia voters will cast ballots on a one-mill drainage tax to be levied in perpetuity, while voters in Monterey will decide the fate of a $50 annual parcel fee for fire protection for 10 years.

Voters in District 4B will elect a School Board member and voters in District B in Ferriday will elect an alderman.

Registrar of Voters Golda Ensminger said the early voting period will run from Saturday, Nov. 24, through Saturday, Dec. 1, with the exception of Sunday, Nov. 30.

Early voting hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the registrar office in the new courthouse in Vidalia.
