Jury, School Board re-elect officers Two Concordia Parish public bodies -- the Police Jury and the School Board -- have re-elected officers for the 2013 year.
During its regular meeting Monday night, the Police Jury re-elected Melvin Ferrington as president and Tommy "Red" Tiffee as vice-president.
At the School Board's regular meeting last week, Jan. 10, Gary Parnham was re-elected president and Raymond Riley as vice-president.
No other candidates were nominated for the positions.
The School Board has three standing committees:
Finance: Fred Butcher (chairman), Darlene Baker and Cheryl Probst.
Personnel: Marilyn Campbell (chairman), Charles Minor and Parnham.
Building & Grounds: Riley (chairman), Warren Enterkin and Jeffery Goodman.
