Ridgecrest trial rescheduled

The trials of the former mayor and the former town clerk of Ridgecrest have been continued until March 25, according to the District Attorney's Office.

Some 200 prospective jurors for this case and others slated to heard this week were notified Friday that the proceedings had been canceled.

Former Ridgecrest Mayor Kevin Graham, 45, of Ferriday and former Town Clerk Dana DeLaughter, 48, of Ridgecrest are charged with multiple counts of theft, false accounting, filing false public records and malfeasance.
