Story Archives: Jury names Friloux secretary-treasurer

Jury names Friloux secretary-treasurer
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Kevin Friloux, who serves as purchasing agent for the Concordia Parish Police Jury, will be the new secretary-treasurer when Hazel Dickson retires effective Sept. 1.

The Concordia Parish Police Jury made the decision at its regular meeting Monday night.

Dickson announced in January that she is retiring. She has been employed by the Police Jury for 30 years.

The Jury will advertise for a new purchasing agent to work at the parish barn, Ferrington said.

"After someone is hired, that person will be trained by Kevin and then Kevin will come to the Jury office to be trained by Hazel," Ferrington said.

He said Friloux "has worked for the Jury for about three years. We're very impressed with his work. He's very thorough."
