PHOTO -- BURNED OUT SHELL OF FRANK MORRIS SHOE SHOP
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Frank Morris' shoe shop was set on fire while he was inside the building -- where he also lived -- during the early morning hours of December 10, 1964. The fire is believed to have been started on the left side of the structure and quickly spread. Morris escaped through the back door, but was severely burned. He died four days later.
